Sealing Grain Bins

Sealing grain bins is always a good idea! Simply put, metal and concrete expand and contract at different rates, so even if the bin was installed perfectly, it doesn't always stay that way!

When it comes to sealing drying bings, it really pays! Typically, the sealing process is more than paid for in energy savings after the first few times you've used your bin to dry grain.

Let's face it, energy costs aren't coming down any time soon, so seal up the gap and insulate up to the bottom of the false floor of the bin and you've just turned your bin into a giant Koozie!
